Director V.N. Aditya, known for notable films like “Manasantha Nuvve,” “Nenunnanu,” and “Aata,” brings a new project, “Valliddari Madhya.” This movie features Viraj Ashwin and Neha Krishna in lead roles and has been released directly on the streaming platform, Aha.
Storyline:
Varun (played by Viraj Ashwin), an engineering graduate, establishes a business dedicated to the welfare of parents whose children live far away. Among his clients are the parents of Anvaya (played by Neha Krishna). Varun falls in love with Anvaya at first sight, and she reciprocates his feelings. However, their relationship is tested by their clashing egos. The film explores how they navigate these challenges.
Positives:
The film carries a strong message about the detrimental impact of egos on relationships. Viraj Ashwin portrays Varun convincingly, showcasing both charm and dancing prowess. Bindu Chandramouli delivers a notable performance as Varun’s mother, especially in a scene emphasizing the importance of longevity in relationships.
Neha Krishna makes a commendable debut, handling emotional scenes with ease and appearing appealing on screen. Srikanth Iyengar, as the psychologist, delivers a solid performance in his scenes.
Negatives:
The film suffers from an inconsistent and unengaging screenplay. From the beginning, the narrative feels dull, failing to generate excitement. The concept of Varun’s business isn’t unique, and its rapid success is unrealistic. The central conflict between the lead characters is poorly developed, leading to a lack of emotional depth and drama. The alter ego concept, while interesting on paper, is poorly executed on screen.
The humor feels outdated and fails to provide relief. The film’s 135-minute runtime feels excessive due to the stretched and prolonged sequences. The climax is predictable, with twists that dilute the intended message.
Technical Aspects:
The music by Madhu Sravanthi is decent, with a few enjoyable songs. R.R. Kolanchi’s cinematography is commendable. However, the editing by Dharmendra Kakarala is lacking, as the film could have been trimmed by 10 to 15 minutes. The production values are sufficient.
Director V.N. Aditya falls short with this film. Despite having a promising story, the writing needed more impact, and the screenplay required stronger emotions to be more engaging.

Overall, “Valliddari Madhya” had potential but ends up being a lackluster film. Despite its good message, the unengaging narration and lengthy runtime make it a disappointing watch.
