Plot:
The story revolves around Sage Vishwamitra’s pursuit of power through penance. Indra, fearing the loss of his throne, sends Menaka to seduce Vishwamitra. Their union results in the birth of a baby girl, Shakuntala, whom Menaka abandons. Raised by Sage Kanva, Shakuntala (portrayed by Samantha) meets King Dushyant (played by Dev Mohan) in the forest, leading to love and marriage. However, Dushyant forgets Shakuntala due to a curse, setting the stage for her struggles to prove their bond.
